What does “dry cleaning” mean?
Dry cleaning is the process of cleaning fabrics with a solvent other than water. Despite what its name implies, dry cleaning is not actually a 'dry' process. Clothes are soaked in a different solvent other than water.
This process is used to clean fabrics that degrade in water, and delicate fabrics that cannot withstand the rough and tumble of a washing machine and clothes dryer. It can eliminate labor-intensive hand washing.
Which fabrics are recommended for dry cleaning?
Wool, silk and acetate fabrics are most appropriate for dry cleaning.
How important are the care labels?
Following the care labels is very important because they are provided by the manufacturer to ensure the best possible care for your garment. By not following the advice on these, Labels you risk damaging to your clothes.
What are the benefits of having my garments dry cleaned?
Dry cleaning removes any bad dirt form the garment, including oils and wax.
How quickly should stains be dry cleaned?
We suggest to bring your clothes to us within 48 hours.
Does having my clothes dry cleaned regularly mean that they will not last as long?
No. Regular dry cleaning improves the life of your clothing because it removes the dirt that is hard to clean at home with a delicate process.
Should I try to remove stains at home?
Home remedies can risk damaging the fabric. We are professionals for a reason, because we know what we're doing.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes, quality is very important to us. We do our best to provide an excellent service. If you are not satisfied, please let us know within 2 weeks.
Can I store clothes in the plastic bags provided by the cleaners?
No. Plastic Bags are not recommended to store clothes because they prevent cloth to breath. The plastic bags we provide are used only to protect your garments during transportation. Store your clothes in a cool, dry and ventilated area.
If I drop off my clothes in the morning, when will they be ready for pick up the same day?
We advise bringing your washing to us as early as possible in the morning to enable same-day collection. When you drop your clothes, we ask if there is an urgent request. In this case you should bring the clothes by 9:00 AM, to have them ready 4:00 PM without extra charge.
Is there a pick-up or delivery service?
Currently, we don’t provide a pick-up or delivery service.
